Garden Club

All experience levels welcome! Most club members are beginners.

Mission

The Mission of the Garden Club is to help the BACC staff keep the green space on the church grounds healthy, inviting and beautiful all year long.

The Garden Club serves as a way to get folks involved in gardening who may not have access to a garden space where they live, learn about vegetation, get their hands in the dirt, get some sun and fresh air, as well as meet their neighbors; all to improve their mental health, build community and keep the gardens up.

Vision

We envision a clean, lush, flower-rich green space in the front public and back private gardens that serve as a space to connect folks to nature, cultivate good mental health, and provide food and habitat for birds and insects. We also want abundant community garden beds, fruit trees and shrubs to feed folks pesticide-free, freshly grown foods and herbs.
